KANEKO specializes in One-of-a-kind, Wearable Art Pieces

 

Coats, jackets, vests, handbags, scarves and hats for for day into evening wear.

 

Each piece is designed using vintage fabrics from around the world, which have been hand painted, hand embroidered, hand woven and/or hand dyed.  They are combined with a multitude of other fabrics such as silks, cut velvets, knits, leathers, and laces.

 

Also incorporated into the designs are inventive methods of pleating, shirring, puckering and other surface treatments and techniques which create interesting lines and effects.
